Seminar - IPC/WHMA-A-620 D for Certified IPC Specialists (CIS)

IPC/WHMA-A-620 is the only industry-consensus standard for Requirements and Acceptance of Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies. IPC/WHMA-A-620 describes materials, methods, tests and acceptance criteria for producing crimped, mechanically secured and soldered interconnections and the related assembly activities associated with cable and harness assemblies.

IPC/WHMA-A-620 prescribes practices and requirements for the manufacture of cable, wire, and harness assemblies. This standard does not provide criteria for cross-section or X-ray evaluation.

CIS training and certification is appropriate for any individual that will benefit by having a consistent understanding of the criteria in a standard. Line operators, engineers, quality engineers will find this training and certification beneficial for their knowledge in the electronics industry.

CIS training is modular. After each of the 9 modules, the IPC online test takes place.
