In HF test systems, high-frequency measurement technology (HF measurement technology for short) is used for functional testing devices with radio transmission. Both the transmitter and the receiver or both parameters in combination can be tested. Since these tests can be complex, they require in-depth expertise in HF measurement technology.

The advanced seminar builds on the basics of HF measurement. It discusses the specifics of basic measurements for antenna cable systems with preamplifiers, splitters, or duplexers.

Passive intermodulation (PIM) is becoming increasingly important in the mobile radio sector due to the new mobile network generations 4G and 5G. The PIM and other special/advanced measuring methods for troubleshooting and functional verification are explained and presented in this seminar using practical examples.
