Seminar
Fundamentals of microwave technology
Target group: Fundamentals of microwave technology
Microwave data links are used by mobile network operators and increasingly by companies that want to connect, for example, plant section A with plant section B using data technology.
However, to understand the possible applications of a microwave, it is necessary to have a basic knowledge of transmission technology. The installation of a microwave link, in addition to mechanical skills, requires knowledge about radio frequency, the allocation of radio channels, the calculation of the link budget, and the configuration of Ethernet switches.
Our seminar, “Fundamentals of microwave technology” for beginners, is aimed at service providers, decision makers in the IT sector, project developers, operators of service providers, and managers of subsidiaries. We offer seminar participants the opportunity to gain insights into the microwave link technology and recognise and develop the diverse application possibilities.
Basic seminar key points:
- General terms and classifications
- Functions of the electronic assemblies
- Mechanical design and variants
- Budget calculation
- Basics of programming
- Settings for the equipment
- Optional extensions
After successful participation in the seminar, all participants receive a certificate from IMS Kommunikationstechnik GmbH in Leipzig.
Following our basic seminar, you decide which additional expertise in the field of microwave technology you require, and you have for instance the option of attending our advanced seminar.
